SKINN Sells Tuesday, Not Saturday

Skinn

SKINN by Titan, the fine fragrance brand launched in 2013, named Ayushmann Khurrana and Sobhita Dhulipala as its first celebrity brand ambassadors on 28 September 2026, and the choice of faces says as much as any tagline.

The campaign is called Make Every Moment Special. The film does not show a date night, a wedding, or a festival. It shows both actors applying fragrance before ordinary days, their separate routines converging under a star-filled night sky. The message is deliberate: fragrance is not a finishing touch for exceptional occasions. It is a daily ritual, like brushing your teeth or making coffee.

The casting does the argument's heavy lifting before the film plays. Ayushmann Khurrana built his career on relentlessly middle-class characters, ordinary men dealing with sperm donation, baldness, and caste, earning a National Film Award and the label of Bollywood's most dependable slice-of-life actor. Sobhita Dhulipala, known for the morally complex Tara Khanna in Made in Heaven and her Hollywood debut in Monkey Man, is celebrated specifically for choosing depth over glamour. Neither actor signals aspirational escape. Both signal real, everyday life.

The branding lesson is this: the celebrities a brand chooses are a positioning statement before the first ad airs. A perfume paired with a Bollywood star known for romance films says wear me on your wedding anniversary. A perfume paired with these two says wear me on a Tuesday. SKINN is trying to grow the fragrance category in India, where purchase remains occasion-driven. Changing that behaviour requires changing the mental context, and the fastest signal a brand can send about context is the face it puts on its packaging.

The most powerful ad a brand can run is its casting sheet.
